Improving Your Roulette Play

Improving Your Roulette Play

Courtesy of Netbet.org

Roulette is truly a game of luck. The more risk a player wants to take, the more glory they have a chance to claim and consequently the more they have to lose. To improve play at the roulette table, it’s important to play with patience and find a system and stick to it.

Patience

Don’t go for the glory all the time. Ok, bet your anniversary, or your daughter’s birthday, or your lucky number; if it comes out and wasn’t played your stomach will turn over. But don’t only bet the long shots, not if you want to walk away from the table a winner.

The more conservative bets will keep a bankroll steady and keep a player at the table longer. The conservative bets can give a player more time to have a direct number hit.

If you have the patience don’t necessarily play every spin of the wheel. There’s no law dictating a player has to bet every single game. Let Trends establish themselves.

If six Red / Even numbers have landed in a row, maybe a Black / Odd number is due.

Of course everything at the Roulette table is random, the Laws of Probability command that every spin of the wheel offer every number the same chance of landing; but with that said, believe in Trends, what goes around will come around.

Systems

Find a Roulette system and stick to it. There are many Roulette systems available.

The D’Alembert system is as follows. Begin betting with $1. Each successive time a player loses, increase the next bet by $1. Each time a player wins, place the next bet with $1 less. If by losing the player works up to a $4 bet and loses again, then the next bet would be for $5. If a player with a $4 bet wins three successive games they would be down to $0 and thus start over. This system works starting at any value, not only $1.

The Martingale System dictates a double bet every time a player loses. If on the first bet a player loses $1, then the next bet should be $2. The following loss would command a $4 bet, on so on. This system is conducive to even money bets, like colors / odds.

Or, make up your own system. Be creative! And stick to it!

Know When To Throw-In-The-Towel

The best way to improve your Roulette game is to know when to walk away. Knowing when to cut losses and leave with winnings will ensure in the end a better outcome.
